Morro Bay Pups is a project of SLOPOST, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, made up of an all-volunteer work force that is working towards the creation of a permanent fenced-in, off-leash Dog Park in our community. We have been volunteering our time and money, personally absorbing any overhead costs in the hope that we could realize our dreams of a permanent Dog Park in Morro Bay. After nearly eight years we finally got the City Council on February 26, 2007 to approve a fenced-in, off-leash Dog Park at Del Mar Park.
